Gabriella Cheij, soprano, completed her graduate studies with a M.M. in voice performance and pedagogy at East Carolina University under soprano, Rachel E. Copeland. She has performed with East Carolina University Opera Theater, East Carolina University Concert Choir, and at several private local concerts. She completed her undergraduate studies at Maryville College receiving a B.A. in music and psychology. She has experience as a performer in opera, opera workshops, musical theater, solo recitals, concerts, and on the stage in theater performance. She most recently performed Yaroslavna in Alexander Borodin’s Prince Igor with the Russian Opera Workshop in Philadelphia. With a focus on fun and healthy supported singing, Gabby has previously taught in several styles privately and with The Wright School of Music in Greenville, NC.
