Keyla Orozco is an experienced Composer, Music Educator, and Pianist who has worked for over Twenty-Five years with a wide variety of students from different age groups and educational levels. She has taught piano at Washington International School, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Sheridan School, Stone Ridge School, and her own studio. Orozco is currently a music faculty for Lower School and ELC divisions at Whittle School and Studios. Her international career as a Composer has made her recipient of several awards such as the Guggenheim Fellowship, Fromm Music Foundation Composition Grant (Harvard University), Recording Inclusivity Initiative at All Classical Portland, among others. She graduated in Composition at the University of the Arts, and in Piano at the National School of the Arts, both in Havana, Cuba. She made advanced Composition studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, and Conservatory of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As an educator, Orozco enjoys working with children the most.
