willWill Rzad is a guitarist and bassist originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. He began his music career in earnest while in high school, where he performed in his school’s award-winning jazz and symphonic bands on electric and double bass. Will left the West Coast to attend the Berklee College of Music as an electric bass student, graduating in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Professional Music.

Although primarily an electric bassist, he took courses, performed live, and made recordings on electric guitar and double bass. He also studied music business and law.Currently, Will is a regularly performing musician in the Washington, DC area. He plays with a variety of groups – everything from acoustic jazz trios to hard rock quintets. He has toured the West Coast up and down California and Nevada, and the East Coast from Boston to Key West. He has also worked as a session musician, playing recording dates in San Francisco, New York, and Boston.

Since 2008, Will has been teaching private lessons to students of all levels on guitar and bass (electric and acoustic). He has also coached numerous rock and jazz band programs for students aged 7 – 60.

Will teaches Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
